Nicole Maguire is a 24 year old singer songwriter from Co. Cork.

No stranger to the music scene, Nicole has played support to some of Ireland’s finest such as Damien Dempsey, Paddy Casey, Cathy Davey and John Spillane along with lots more. Recently, Nicole joined Nanci Griffith on a sold out Irish Tour and this led to her travelling to Nashville to begin working on her new record due for release in early 2011.

Nicole has worked with some of Nashville’s most prestigious writers and has began sharing her time between Ireland and America.

Dodge & The Urban Druids – Harsh Times

Dodge & The Urban Druids are an original Hip Hop/Alternative/Rock band. The Urban Druids are influenced by numerous music genres of the last century like the fun loving criminals, N.E.R.D, The Streets, The Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, Faithless, The House Of Pain, Immortal Technique, Republic Of Loose.

The Urban Druids came to be when MC Dodge teamed up with musician/producer Warren Tivy to make an album of their material and eventually play it with a band. Tracks like Harsh Times which appeared on Fresh Hip Hop Europe Compilation 2007Anxiety which was written for suicide awareness Ireland, shows that the bands subject is very current and relevant to the youth culture in Ireland.

The live show consists of groove and upbeat tunes that get the audience jumping and bopping their heads. Having cut his hip hop teeth growing up in the heart of the hip hop culture Los Angeles, California as well performing and recording with the some of LA’s up and coming acts MC Dodge is truly a lyrical street Poet with an Irish flavour. The Urban Druids are currently recording there new CD at ClayCastle Recording Studio,Youghal, Co. Cork, Ireland. The band consisting of MC Dodge (George O Shea – vocals & decks), Paul Cremin (electric guitar), Ian Walsh (drums) and Warren Tivy (keyboards/bass guitar/backing vocals)
